Kanuka(Indian) is similar in action to Manuka, both of which have been traditionally used by New Zealand's native Maori people for skin, respiratory and digestive ailments. Kanuka oil has a clear, fresh, slightly more floral aroma than Manuka.

Kanuka oil has antimicrobial and healing activity, making it a powerful oil for minor wounds, acne, and fungal conditions of the nails or skin. Can be used as an inhalation during coughs and colds to help clear the respiratory system, support immune defences and aid recovery. It is also wonderful in a massage oil, penetrating deeply to ease stiff or sore muscles and joints. Kanuka is known to be calming and relaxing, and can be used to aid sleep.

CAUTION: As with all essential oils, dilute into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place. Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using.
