French Pink Clay is a combination of red and white clays. It is considered to be the mildest of all the clays and works well for normal, sensitive and mature skin types. Its unique composition includes Kaolin, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite.

Appearance: Fine rose/pink colored powder.

Benefits: French Pink Clay can be used to cleanse the skin, slough off dead skin cells and to create an overall refreshed appearance. It can be used on oily or acne-prone skin. It is most widely used in cosmetic manufacturing.

Application: French Pink Clay can be used in body wraps, soap making, face masks, mineral based or cream based cleansers, face or body scrubs, cosmetics and facial powders.

Caution: Caution should be exercised as clays may stain fabric.

This product is not classified as hazardous. It doesn’t represent a risk to health or the environment.

Irritation	Excessive airborne dust may cause mild irritation (mechanical) of the eyes and of the respiratory tract.

Ingestion	Not expected to be a hazard
Inhalation	The product may contain breathable dust. Prolonged inhalation of a high concentration of dust may affect lung function. To use in complete safety, respect exposure limits.
Risk of Slips/Falls	Dampening the floor while cleaning a clay storage site may render it extremely slippery. Dry cleaning is recommended if people are required to continue working on the site.

FIRST AID MEASURES

Eyes	Flush with plenty of water or eye wash solution for 15 minutes. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin	Due to its use in cosmetics, no adverse effects are expected. May dry mucous and skin.
Ingestion	Non-toxic according to research. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.
Inhalation	No vapors present at normal temperatures. No adverse effects due to inhalation of vapors are expected. If this is the case, remove to fresh air place.

Extinguishing media	This product is non-inflammable and non-explosive. No specific firefighting measure is required. No unsuitable extinguishing media.
