This innovative 2-piece silicone in a butterfly shaped length is great for cutting down to size and used as embeds, OR suspended within a soap loaf- creating repeat pattern slices. Made from sturdy yet flexible, silicone which makes the release of both cold process and melt and pour soap super easy.
The key is to break the airlock by gently pulling away the sides of the mould from the soap. If you experience any resistance when removing cold process soap, stop and give it a few more days in the mould.
After removing your soap from the mould, hand wash the silicone mould with hot water and dish soap. Dry it and the mould is ready to use next time.

Directions:Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. For added safety, clamp the edges. Slowly pour melted soap no hotter than 130ºF into mold. Allow soap to harden then open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars.
Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together, and clamp the edges. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Care: Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.
